TitanX Engine Cooling located in Jamestown, NY, a leading multinational engine cooling supplier has an immediate opening for the position listed. -Key Responsibilities
- Drives improvement and change by directing efforts implementing the TitanX Production System. Assists in implementation and monitors the effectiveness of TiPS implementation.
- Fulfills the Roles/Responsibilities of the Salaried HPWO Coordinator/TiPS Manager as defined in the HPWO Guidelines
- Champions the Kaizen mindset and tools; Kaizen card competition and Kaizen events
- Leads the takt time/cycle time analysis, SMED/HOSHIN/5S/ Depth Process Analysis/TPM/KanBan System activities, auto quality matrix development and utilization, and Continuous Improvement program.

-Key Responsibilities
- Training for 12-18 months in Sweden, after that working in a plant in Opole
- Work in accordance with IATF, ISO14000, OHSAS18000 and existing internal policies and Customer Specifics.
- Define with the project team the process, in order to meet performance and cost targets.
- Manage the industrial schedule, resources and budget to reach the project target.
- Represent the industrial organization of the project in internal or external meetings.
- Ensure adequate interaction with the product development team to perform simultaneous engineering.
- Create the necessary technical specification for machine investments projects.
- Lead process risk reviews for new products and machines.
- Ensure respect of existing standards and specifications in the project work.
- Manage and in some cases perform calculations and CAD drawings for improvements in production.
- Manage the process development documentation and implement the necessary reliability tools, such as Lessons Learned, Process FMEAs, Process Reviews, PDCA/DMAIG, Poka Yoke and RCA.
- Perform risk analyses for project risks and CE documentation.
- Coordinate machine and layout changes.
- Take part to the planning, evaluation and approval of machine projects FAT & SAT tests.
- Organize pre-serial trials.
To be successful in the role, you need
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years experience in the field.
- Knowledge in especially project management in machine investment.
- Proven computer skills, especially Inventor and MS Office.
- Communicates fluently in English in speech and in writing. German is a plus.
- Willing to be localized in Sweden for a period of 12-18 months then relocate to our Opole Facility.

The Role
Facilitates change in Manufacturing Operations. Lead and manage daily activities, planning, organizing and directing all factory operations in the assigned plant area to meet the goals of the company
Participates in the development, maintenance and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs. Demonstrates proficiency and competency in use of Involvement of Personnel tools, which support the TISIX continuous improvement philosophy. Actively supports the TISIX, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, Environmental Health and Safety Management Systems, and supports all necessary activities to fully implement all management systems into all aspects of TitanX operations. Assumes Deputy Responsibilities as assigned in accordance with Procedure Admin/4.1.2/02. Performs miscellaneous related duties as assigned.

- Responsible for a safe, clean working environment.
- Facilitates change and improvement activities in the APT.
- To plan, organize and direct all factory operations in the assigned plant area to meet the goals of the company.
- Monitors execution of the Production plan using TitanX philosophies (i.e. QRQC) or tools (i.e. KOSU).
- Plan, organize and direct the operation of the unit to assure that established production requirements are met.
- Develop and establish productivity requirements for the unit; select, supervise, train, discipline and counsel employees to assure effective professional growth and development.

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing management
- Associates degree desired
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations
- Strong interpersonal skills needed in supervising employees of various levels of ability.

The Role
Must be knowledgeable in at least one functional area, competent w/basic engineering skills including problem solving, documentation and basic project management.
Must possess a minimum knowledge of the basic workings of equipment in the assigned area and basic knowledge of products and related components. - Holds responsibility for equipment, process and documentation in assigned area, including APQP, Maintenance, (PM’s, spare parts, new equipment) APU (quality cost and delivery).
- Ensures all equipment and processes are continuously improved.
- Has responsibility for the preparation and implementation of Manufacturing and Engineering instructions and the training of supervisors and production teams.
- Prepares and implements PFMEA’s, Machine FMEA’s, routings, Process flow charts, floor layouts and drawings relating to equipment.
- Has responsibility for proposing and evaluating suggestions regarding parameter changes, equipment modification, process layout, data analysis (Cpk’s, changover times, TRS).
- Supports APQP process, which includes support to production with meeting cost, quality and delivery goals.

The Role
The Independent Accountant is responsible for the financial activities in Central & Eastern Europe. Work of Independent Accountant will also include financial activities for Opole development plan. The candidate should be multi tasking and be able to manage the entire gambit of financial activities in Poland. Independent Accountant supports group activities in Italy, Sweden and India

The Role
The Indirect buyer is responsible for the execution of the sourcing process for Indirect categories. He/she analyses, evaluates and executes current processes and practices, develops and executes the sourcing strategy with the objective of ensuring that targets are met within the overall framework of TitanX objectives for Indirect categories. The position is responsible to coordinate and lead local sourcing for Indirect categories, and regional/global sourcing within selected Indirect categories, including coordination with Central purchase.

- Own the Indirect material and investment budget/objectives
- Procurement of material and services requested by plant
- Fulfilling Group Sourcing strategy
- Participance on coordination of sourcing strategy within group
- Lead and support local, regional/global negotiations for indirect categories
- Coordinate with Central purchase on sourcing efforts within selected Indirect categories
- Develop and tune the sourcing process for Indirect/Investments (coordination, RFI/RFD/RFQ process, evaluation/selection process, ordering & monitoring, etc.)
- Responsible for constant improvement of purchasing conditions (payment term, delivery leadtime)
- Design, negotiate and sign contract as per Authorization Matrix
- Manage supplier’s relationships
- Manage and maintain supplier panel for indirect categories
- Monitor, track and execute sourcing activities and supplier panel development.
- Monitor and track supplier performances
- Benchmark, analysis and follow-up of market and secure that the best conditions are reached

- Bachelor degree (in Mechanical/Automobile/Production, Business Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain or Finance) and/or 3-5 years work experience within purchasing, sourcing/Vendor development – preferably experience in indirect purchasing categories and in the industrial/manufacturing sector.

Supply Chain Specialist ensures the procurement of operations material by communicating orders to suppliers (TitanX & External), securing suppliers’ delivery performance and quality of execution, and monitoring inventory levels. |
