Vehicle Climatic Windtunnel

How we work

Planning and preparation

Working closely with the customer, our engineers determine the specific instrumentation required to accomplish the customer's testing objectives. Up to 200 temperature, pressure, flow, and other parameters can be selected, as well as real-time calculations.

Wind tunnel technicians then prepare the vehicle, installing test components and the sensors (thermocouples, flowmeters, pressure transducers, fiberoptic rpm pickups, current shunts, etc.) that will interface with the data acquisition system.

Security and services

The TitanX vehicle wind tunnel is fully equipped to handle the security requirements of your testing program. It is in housed in a dedicated building, separate from the main facility, with systems in place to control access to the building and the test data, around the clock.

Component testing and prototype fabrication services are available inhouse or locally. The wind tunnel is also equipped to set up and conduct road testing, with on-board data acquisition and instrumentation.
