Volvo Trucks nominates TitanX to be single source engine cooling supplier for its entire Heavy Duty Platform in Europe

TitanX Engine Cooling AB, headquartered in Mjällby, Sweden, has been awarded a major contract from Volvo Trucks and Renault Trucks in Europe.

In a highly competitive environment, TitanX has secured the role of “single-source supplier” for all engine cooling modules on the heavy duty truck platforms for both Volvo and Renault. Included in this award are all of the following:
  • Volvo FH
  • Volvo FM
  • Renault Magnum
  • Renault Premium
  • Renault Kerax
Product development efforts are currently underway with the goal of producing the first engine cooling modules just ahead of the start of regular production depending on the truck model in question.

An extensive investment program has also been initiated to facilitate the manufacture of these cooling modules in the TitanX plant in Mjällby, Sweden, where all of the product destined for Europe will be designed and manufactured.

TitanX starts operations in Brazil
This past November 2011 TitanX Brazil was registered under the name TitanX Refrigeração de Motores, LTDA. Groundbreaking for the production facility is expected for early February in the city of Jaguariúna, Brazil, located northeast of Sao Paulo.
