The
primary role of the Simulation Engineer is to support the local project teams
in their mission to develop products which satisfy market needs. The Simulation
Engineer strives for adequate balance between numerical, analytical and
experimental methods. Through numerical simulation, s/he gains and shares
insight of the physics driving performance and durability which in turn helps
reducing the number of design iterations. S/he is also responsible for proper
timing of the analyses. Overall, s/he actively contributes to shortening the
lead lime and reducing the cost of the development projects.
As
a member of the global simulation group, the Simulation Engineer interacts on a
regular basis with his/her peers scattered around the globe. She/he takes part
in the development of robust and accurate numerical methods in collaboration
with other sites. S/he tailors global simulation methods to fit the local
products. S/he is the local ambassador for the global simulation group: s/he
cultivates the simulation network, advertises simulation capabilities, gathers
feedback from local project teams, etc.
The
Structural Engineer executes his/her tasks with a strong quality mindset, respects
existing work standards, and contributes improving these standards.
Profile:
-
M.S. or Ph.D. in Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent,
-
minimum of two years experience in the industry within the field of numerical simulation,
-
proven skills in structural analysis is a must,
-
knowledge of CFD and sheet metal forming simulation is a plus,
-
knowledge of the following tools is a plus: Hypermesh, Radioss,
MSC
Nastran, ANSYS Mechanical, Code_Aster, Fluent,
CFD++, OpenFOAM, Code_Saturne,
-
hands on experience building, instrumenting and testing physical prototypes is
a plus,
-
strong quality mindset,
-
team player,
-
excellent communication skills in English.

Engineering Support är en avdelning inom TitanX, R&D. Här
ligger funktionerna prototyp, labb och beräkning. Avdelningen stödjer de lokala
projektteamen i uppdraget att utveckla har, är att stödja
de lokala
projektgrupperna
i
uppdraget
att
utveckla produkter
som uppfyller
marknadens
behov
. S
om Support Engineer applicerar du en
lämplig balans av numeriska
, analytiska och
experimentella
metoder för att uppnå tids- och vinstfördelar
, som
i sin
tur
bidrar till att minska
antalet
designloopar och fysiska tester
. Du
är
ansvarig för
korrekt
timing
av analyserna och att presentera dessa för kunden.
Sammantaget
kommer du att
bidra till att
aktivt
förkorta
ledtiden
och höja den tekniska nivån på avdelningen och därigenom minska
kostnaderna för
utvecklingsprojekten

Din
profil:
-
Civilingenjör i
teknisk
fysik,
maskinteknik
eller motsvarande är ett krav.
-
Minst
två års erfarenhet
inom beräkningar (FEA) och
hållfasthet
är ett krav.
-
Fallenhet för automatisering med
hjälp av Matlab-script eller liknande är ett krav.
-
Kännedom om mätteknik och därtill
hörande utrustning är ett måste.
-
Förmåga att identifiera och genomföra
helhetslösningar (undvika suboptimering) är nödvändig för att bli framgångsrik
i denna position.

Kunskap om och intresse för
CFD
är meriterande.

Erfarenhet från något av följande
verktyg
är ett plus: Altair Hyperworks,
ANSYS
Mechanical, Spaceclaim eller annan motsvarande programvara.
Personliga
